Milan Elementary Students are Trustworthy.
Mr. Mills from the American Legion recognized students for being named October Students of the Month for trustworthiness.


Milan Robotics competed in their first league meet this year. All 6 teams engineered a working robot. Way to go!

The town of Milan has announced that Trick or Treat has been postponed from October 31. It will now be held Saturday, November 2, from 2:00-4:00 p.m.

Many of our MES students received special "shout outs" during Monday Morning Meeting. Way to go, students!


The gates for the game will open at 6:00 on Friday.

Round 2 of the football sectional Friday night vs Hagerstown will start at 7:30.

Travel update for football game tonight: The exit ramps on 74 in Greensburg are shut down. The team will travel to HWY 9 in Shelbyville and then take HWY 40 in Greenfield to get to Knightstown. This is just an FYI as you head out tonight for the game.

Mrs. Taylor's students learned the scientific method while carving a classroom pumpkin.

Milan Elementary is thankful to Milan Legion Post #235, the Sons of the Legion, and the Ladies Auxiliary for their combined donation of $10,000 to help meet the needs of students at MES. We sincerely appreciate their generosity. #weRmilan


Red Ribbon Week begins tomorrow. MES staff & students will wear RED, because we are “choosing to be drug free!”


The School Board recognized three teachers at the board meeting tonight. Mrs. Small-Summers as Ripley County Educator of the Year, Mrs. Hicks for presenting at the international Microbits Conference, and Mrs. White for serving on the Indiana Teacher Advisory Council. #weRmilan
