The Milan High School band will be getting new uniforms for the 2022-23 school year. The Milan School Board approved a request to donate $10,000 of the total cost at their meeting February 14. The remaining $16,000 will come from the band through fundraisers and donations.
Stefanie Bedel, band director at Milan for 21 years, commented, "Our current uniforms have been in use for 20 years so it is time for an update." The uniforms come from Stanbury Uniforms and consist of three variations: A black jacket, black bib overalls, and a reversible overlay for the jacket face.
