From MES: Good morning! School is closed today but we will have Remote Learning. Today is a GOLD day, meaning your lessons should come from: Math, Science, Social Studies, and Music. Grades K-2 teachers will be posting information to their Seesaw or Google Classrooms by 9:00 am. This will be similar to what we have done in the past. Grade 3-4 teachers will be expected to meet with students on a Google Meet from 8:30-10:30. Students are expected to log on. This is how they will be marked for attendance. Students can also email their teachers if they have questions. Assignments will be due by 8 am on the following school day. Students will access their assignments through Google Classroom or Seesaw to accomplish daily objectives and master content standards. Our MES cafe was magical today as we enjoyed yummy food and live music from retired MES teacher, Mr. Lockwood, and his friends. Some students loved getting the extra bonus of eating with an MES staff member. ❤️💚

Our school nurses received a very generous monetary donation along with socks and underwear from local community members Sheri Cunningham and Connie Shadday. Their "Boxers and Bloomers" project positively contributes to our Milan students and we appreciate them. Thank you!

ATTENTION 2ND GRADE PARENTS: Our 2nd graders will be performing at the Milan Christmas Walk THIS SATURDAY at 5:00pm in the Darren Baker Memorial Park. Please have your child at the park by 4:45. The weather forecast is chilly, so make sure the students are dressed for the weather. We look forward to seeing you there on Saturday!
