
Milan Elementary School was honored to host executives from Amplify this week. Amplify CEO Larry Berger came to see how MES has used Amplify products to make academic gains, specifically with Reading interventions. It was an honor to brag about MES students and staff!

Tomorrow has some exciting events for the Milan Community. Trick or Treat starts at 5:00 and ends at 7:00. You can start your evening with Scares with Cares at the Milan American Legion.


This week 3rd and 4th grade teachers were able to have a work session with CIESC. We enjoyed our time polishing our math instructional skills and adding new tools to our instructional toolbox.

Here are some pics from today’s 3rd grade Mad HATter Tea Party to celebrate finishing CKLA reading Unit 1: Classic Tales. They enjoyed a spot of tea or lemonade, tea party snacks, a friendly game of croquet, and watched the Disney version of Alice in Wonderland.

Clifford and Harper did awesome!! Clifford did very well in a tough and handsome Prince group. Harper was crowned second runner-up. We are so proud of how you both represented MES!


MES wishes the best of luck to our MES Prince Clifford and Princess Harper. They will be competing in the Pumpkin Show Prince and Princess competition tonight at 7:00 pm!

MES PTO Soap Sale: MES students are selling laundry soap for our annual fall fundraiser. Students who sell 10 or more items will earn this awesome Milan shirt.

MES is getting a playground renovation. Mr. Rohrig was so happy to see one of his former Geometry students putting his math skills to work during the concrete forming process.
