The MHS band is hitting all the right notes on their annual goodwill tour! This year, they’re traveling to sunny Orlando, FL, showcasing their musical talents at various venues along the way. Wishing them an unforgettable journey filled with great performances and safe travels!


MHS had the honor of hosting the ORVC Winter All-Sports Banquet this evening. Congratulations to our outstanding winter athletes who earned All-Conference honors in boys and girls swimming, as well as girls and boys basketball! We’re proud of your hard work and dedication.


Thanks to Southeastern Career Center for hosting a group of Milan High School students today at the Fearless Females event! This event empowers young women to break gender stereotypes and explore STEM and skilled trades. The students loved this hands-on learning experience.










This morning our Work Based Learning students were given the opportunity to put their learning to the test in mock interviews. In collaboration with Civista Bank each student was interviewed, evaluated, then received feedback about their performance. We are so grateful to Civista Bank for giving our students the opportunity to practice career skills that will better prepare them for their future.

🎶 Wow! The March band concert was a hit! Our amazing students from grades 6-12 wowed the packed house with their incredible performances.




Our sophomores had an amazing experience today at the Shelbyville Aviation Flight Facility! A huge thank you to the Army National Guard for giving them the opportunity to explore careers in the military and aviation.










Thank you, Northern Kentucky University, for welcoming our freshman students today! They had the chance to explore campus, learn about their future options, enjoy a college lunch, and even picture themselves as future Norse! ⚔️💛💙




Here are some highlights from the Indiana FFA State Officer’s visit to Milan! She engaged with students in grades 7-12, inspiring teamwork and communication through a variety of interactive activities. The challenges were a hit, and every grade enjoyed the experience.

It's FFA week at Milan High School! Today, in Miss Sides' Animal Science class, students are practicing giving vaccines. One of the many examples of how MHS helps students graduate with a plan.

Today we are celebrating Kayla Roell's state wrestling championship and MHS received a visit from Town Council President, Deb Schumate, this morning proclaiming 1/24/25 as "Kayla Roell Day" in the town of Milan! Milan has added esports! We currently have approximately 20 students participating on the high school and middle school teams being coached by Mr Engleking. Our teams compete against opposing schools in popular games like Rocket League and Fortnite. Go Indians!
