It was an incredible day of learning and inspiration — students gained valuable career skills, explored business and entrepreneurship concepts, and networked with local professionals and peers. The event encouraged them to think creatively and confidently about their futures!

Today in Mrs. Sciuttos and Mrs. Seals’ classes, students simulated a fish population while doing calculations and graphing their data to show how the population changed over time. These calculations involved birth and death rates, immigration and emigration, and limiting factors such as drought, predation, and natural disasters.

Career Center students, Ivy Tech students and Work Based Learning students will receive their pictures tomorrow morning 10/22/25. Picture retake day will be Tuesday 10/28/25 for any students that were absent for the initial picture day or would like to have pictures retaken.

Today Mrs. Sciutto’s and Mrs. Seals’ classes teamed up to simulate how the effects of resource availability, competition, natural disasters, and pollution affect different organisms in an ecosystem. Each student was assigned an organism and then was tasked with collecting and using resources through different scenarios.
